Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Murrysville) seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The PTA provides hands-on therapy that supports patient recovery, improves mobility, and enhances functional independence.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a PTA.
• Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
• Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment
