Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing (Monroeville) is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides high-quality, hands-on therapy services that support patient recovery, improve mobility, and enhance functional independence.

Qualifications

Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
Active Pennsylvania license (or eligibility).
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist.
Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques.
Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment.
