Job summary

Kadima Healthcare Rehabilitation and Nursing in Monroeville, PA seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA provides hands-on therapy to support recovery and functional independence.

Ideal candidates hold an active PA PTA license, communicate well, and work in a collaborative team within a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania PTA license or eligibility.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Implement established treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapy and guide patients through exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor and report patient progress, responses, and changes to the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with improving strength, balance, coordination, and functional mobility.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques.
• Support a safe, compliant, and positive rehabilitation environment.
