Lehigh Acres Health and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our on-site team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. In this role you will assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and help patients regain mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license
• Experience in rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required
• Strong communication and patient-care abilities

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain
• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to supervising PT
• Educate patients and families about exercises, safety, and body mechanics
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain high standards of care
