Vintage Wellness and Rehab in Denton, TX is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities. You will provide skilled therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and contribute to patient recovery.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant required.
• Open to therapists at all experience levels.
• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation.
• Assesses patient progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments.
• Provides consultation to patients and families, as well as caregivers and other service providers.
• Contributes to discharge summaries of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
