Job summary

Vintage Wellness and Rehab in Denton, TX seeks a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care facilities.

You will provide evidence-based rehabilitation under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, contribute to care plans, monitor progress, and support patient quality of life through skilled interventions. We offer mentorship and a supportive culture with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Experience/Qualifications:

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant

This position is open to therapists at all experience levels.

Some duties for this position include:

• Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.

• Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of an Physical Therapist.

• Provides skilled therapy services to patients who need rehabilitation services.

• Assessments and document patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly.

• Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to physical disorders.

• Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
