Job summary

St Luke Portage Lakes is seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. You will work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and rehabilitation services in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other injuries or conditions.
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, stretches, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
