Job summary

St Luke Portage Lakes in Akron, OH is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant PTA to join our team on a PRN basis. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide patient care and rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities include assisting with evaluation and treatment, implementing plans, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records. Ohio licensure is required, and an Associate's degree in PTA is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and other injuries or conditions.
• Implement treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, stretches, and modalities.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
