Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team on a full-time basis. The PTA will support the PT in designing and implementing therapies to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and promote functional wellness for our geriatric residents.

Candidates must hold an active Tennessee PTA license and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee PTA license is required.
• Experience in geriatric or SNF setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness for residents in a skilled nursing facility.
• Provide functional activities to enhance residents' experience.
