Job summary

Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time role in a skilled nursing setting. You will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to support mobility, pain relief, and functional independence for residents.

The ideal candidate has an active PTA license in the state, passion for geriatric care, and comfort performing independent evaluations and therapeutic activities to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
• Demonstrated passion for geriatric population and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Support residents' functional activities to enhance quality of life and independence.
