Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance activities as outlined by the PT.
  • Administer physical agents (heat, cold, electrical stimulation, ultrasound) and assist residents with devices.
  • Observe residents before, during, and after therapy; report status changes or adverse reactions to the supervising PT.
  • Complete timely clinical documentation and billing records in compliance with federal and state regulations (CMS).
  • Instruct residents, families, and facility staff on prescribed exercises, safety techniques, and discharge plans.
  • Maintain established productivity levels and efficiency standards set by administration.
