Job summary

Sequoia Transitional Care in Porterville, CA is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This full-time role involves providing skilled therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, with a focus on helping residents regain independence and mobility.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate Degree, a valid California PTA license, and the ability to work collaboratively in a positive environment. Competitive pay of $40.00 – $45.00 per hour based on experience, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification if required by state licensure.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Complete timely documentation in accordance with facility policies.
• Participate in Resident Care Conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
