Job summary

Neville-Center-At-Fresh-Pond is seeking a Registered Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time day shifts in Massachusetts. The PTA will work under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapy services, implement plans of care, and help achieve patient goals.

We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, a weekend differential of $3.00, flexible hours, weekly pay, onsite parking, and a monthly employee recognition program.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of experience in a therapist capacity.
• Preferred experience in skilled nursing facility or rehab hospital.

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the Registered Physical Therapist to implement the plan of care.
• Documents observations and patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Communicates and coordinates patient care with the health care team and patient.
• Provides patient, family and caregiver teaching related to therapy program and safety.
• Assist in procuring equipment or supplies for optimal functioning and safety.
• Supervise PTA Students in accordance with regulations and policy.
