Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of the Registered Physical Therapist to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Documents observations, patient responses to treatment, and progress.
• Coordinates care with other health team members and patient.
• Provides patient, family and caregiver teaching related to the PT program, safety and functional status.
• Assists patient/family in obtaining equipment or supplies for home safety and functioning.
• Supervises PTA students in accordance with regulations and policy.
