Job summary

Las Colinas Post Acute invites a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in a skilled nursing setting. This full-time position offers clinical growth, collaborative care, and hands-on patient interaction focused on restoring strength, mobility, and independence.

As a PTA, you will deliver treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, guide patients through exercises, monitor progress, and document outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current PTA license in good standing.
• SNF experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility.
• Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and safety techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused rehab environment.
