Job summary

ClarkLindsey is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support residents in regaining movement and managing pain under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence in a wellness-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Illinois PTA license.
• CPR certification.
• Geriatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services under the direction of a licensed PT to help residents improve mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence.
• Assist with gait training, balance exercises, therapeutic activities, and functional mobility tasks.
• Document resident care and communicate progress or concerns to the PT.
• Ensure safe and proper use of therapy equipment.
• Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and restorative programs.
