Job summary

Adoration Health in Miramar Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to support one-on-one patient care. You will assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans in an outpatient/geriatric setting and help patients improve strength, mobility and independence.

Applicants should have an accredited PTA program, current PTA certification, and a willingness to provide flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited PTA training program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant certification in state of practice.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment interventions.
• Administer therapeutic exercises to improve strength, mobility and function.
• Provide training and document rehabilitation results for patients.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and communicate status changes to the care team.
• Support the patient’s plan of treatment and report status changes.
