Connected Home Health and Hospice in Beaverton, OR seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. Youll provide direct PT services, support patients in exercises and gait training, and utilize modalities to relieve pain and restore function.

The role offers independent scheduling, a Monday-Friday routine, and opportunities through our training/preceptorship programs. Must have Oregon PTA licensure and BLS certification, with 2+ years of PT experience.

Qualifications

• Active PTA licensure in Oregon.
• 2+ years of experience in physical therapy.
• Hold a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Possess reliable insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy according to directions of physical therapist and plan of care.
• Treat patients to relieve pain, develop or restore function, and maintain maximum performance.
• Direct and aid patients in active and passive therapeutic exercises, gait and functional training.
• Utilize physical agents, including heat, cold, water, light, electricity, ultrasound and massage.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and any changes in condition.
• Instruct patients in care and use of mobility devices.
