Job summary

Total Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in Ohio. You will work with a licensed Physical Therapist to help older adults improve mobility, independence and quality of life in assisted living and independent living communities.

Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state.
• CPR/BLS certification is current.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience in geriatrics/home health/assisted living is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PT treatments under a licensed PT and care plan.
• Deliver exercises, gait, balance, transfers to meet functional goals.
• Monitor progress and report changes to supervising PT.
• Document treatment notes in the EMR system.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home exercises and safety.
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain a full caseload with compassionate therapy.
