Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed, registered, or certified as a PTA as applicable in the practicing state.
• Graduated from a PTA curriculum approved by CAPTE.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy services and treatments to patients according to the patient's plan of care.
• Prepares clinical and progress notes.
• Provides education to patients and family regarding a home exercise program.
• Observes, records, and reports the patient's response to treatment to the PT.
• Maintains accurate documentation of care/services provided.
• Communicates with other team members regarding the patient's plan of care.
