Job summary

Evergreen Care Center, located in Fresno, CA, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. The PTA supports licensed therapists, helps patients regain functional abilities, and contributes to care planning under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care for residents seeking short-term/transitional rehabilitation.
• Assist in delivering quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services for accurate and timely therapy billing.
• Ensure care follows the Plan of Care and organizational guidelines and complies with regulations.
• Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, develop and implement therapy plans to restore and enhance function.
• Identify and refer to other disciplines as needed to address patient goals.
• Other duties and activities may be assigned.
