Always Best Care Senior Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Home health experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients in improving mobility, strength, balance, endurance, coordination, and functional independence.
• Provide gait training, transfer training, therapeutic exercise, and instruction in the safe use of assistive devices.
• Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs, fall prevention, and independence techniques.
• Monitor patient progress, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure outcomes.
