Job summary

Nightingale Visiting Nurses of Massachusetts is seeking a part-time or full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to serve patients in Fall River and surrounding areas in a home health setting. The PTA will deliver therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on mobility and functional improvement with one-on-one patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS include MA PTA licensure, at least 1 year of PT/PTA experience, and familiarity with OASIS/WellSky.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in MA.
• Minimum of 1 year PT/PTA experience preferred.
• Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred.
• Current Physical Exam within last 12 months.
• Current TB test within last 12 months and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Prepare accurate daily progress notes for treatments provided (to be reviewed and signed by the PT).
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Submit all visit records and documentation in a timely manner.
• Attend in-service and on-the-job training sessions as required.
• Follow Nightingale’s established policies and procedures.
