Job summary

Nightingale Visiting Nurses is seeking a Part-time or Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in home health in Fall River and surrounding areas. The PTA works under a licensed Physical Therapist, delivering mobility and function-focused care in patients’ homes.

Ideal candidates are MA-licensed PTAs with at least 1 year of PTA/PT experience, familiar with OASIS and WellSky, and hold current TB test and CPR certification with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in MA
• Minimum of 1 year PTA/PT experience preferred
• Experience with OASIS and WellSky (Kinnser) strongly preferred
• Current Physical Exam (within last 12 months)
• Current TB test (within last 12 months) and CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement the Plan of Care as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Prepare accurate daily progress notes for treatments provided
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations
• Submit all visit records and documentation in a timely manner
• Attend in-service and on-the-job training sessions as required
• Follow established policies and procedures of Nightingale Visiting Nurses
