Job summary

Greenway Health and Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Therapy Team. You will work under a Physical Therapist to empower residents in activities of daily living and help develop treatment plans supporting patient growth.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of practice.
• Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Conduct screenings to determine intervention/treatment needs.
• Develop and modify treatment plans with the Physical Therapist.
• Deliver individual and group therapy as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Document CMS-compliant records in EMR systems.
• Educate residents, families and staff on therapy activities.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating resident therapy.
• Participate in Quality Assurance and program evaluation.
