Harmony Health and Rehab in Tifton, GA seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver high-quality therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You will help residents improve mobility, restore function, and enhance independence through targeted exercises and gait training.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current and valid PTA licensure/certification.
• CPR certification required (or obtain upon hire).
• Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and functional mobility tasks.
• Assist residents in improving strength, range of motion, and overall physical endurance.
• Monitor and document residents’ treatments, progress, and responses in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with the supervising PT regarding residents’ status, changes, and potential adjustments to care plans.
• Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers on exercise programs, mobility techniques, and safety measures.
• Adhere to facility policies, professional practice standards, and regulatory requirements, including documentation and infection control.
