Mobile Rehabilitation & Wellness Center in Mobile, AL, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help residents regain strength and independence through personalized treatments.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification, as required.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsabilités

• Provide PTA services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Follow individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait and transfer training.
• Document treatments and progress accurately.
• Educate residents and families during rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain safety, dignity, and confidentiality.
