Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient care under the supervision of Physical Therapists and department leadership. You will assist with modalities, interventions, and documentation while maintaining a safe, organized department environment.

This role requires an Associate’s degree and PTA licensure in the state of practice, with no prior experience required. A Healthcare Provider card or course completion within probation is also required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an accredited program.
• Must hold Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in the state of practice.
• No prior experience required.
• Must have a current Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment including therapeutic modalities and interventions.
• Assist in medical records, upkeep of department environment, safety and equipment.
• Promote quality patient care through collaboration with interdisciplinary team.
• Work under supervision of department management and the Assistant Director.
