Job summary

Mercy is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic modalities and interventions under supervision. You will assist with medical records, department upkeep, safety, and equipment while supporting improved department functioning.

Works under the Assistant Director, upholding Mercy Service Standards. The role requires an Associate’s degree, a valid PTA license, and a Healthcare Provider card or course completion within probation.

Qualifications

• Must have state Physical Therapist Assistant license.
• Healthcare Provider card required or complete a course within probation period.
• General knowledge of treatment principles for a diverse number and types of diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment including therapeutic modalities and interventions under supervision.
• Assist with medical records, department environment, safety and equipment.
• Promote advisory service to interdisciplinary team to improve patient care.
• Operate under supervision of the Assistant Director and align with Mercy Service Standards.
