Job summary

Fulton Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver physical therapy and related services under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. You will maintain professional interactions with facilities and clients while following organizational guidelines and state/federal regulations.

As part of our in-house therapy program, you will work with an interdisciplinary team, supervise rehab technicians, and contribute to ongoing patient progress and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Director of Rehabilitation and Physical Therapist.
• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations as appropriate.
• Implement treatment for all assigned patients per the established plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and team members.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Integrate physical therapy services into facility and interdisciplinary plans.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, and care conferences as directed by the PT.
