STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support therapists and improve patient care across clinics in Tennessee. You will perform therapeutic interventions, document progress, and guide patients in exercises, gait training, and home programs.

Qualificações

• Graduate from a CAPTE accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• New graduates encouraged to apply.
• Current TN licensure as a PTA.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to work autonomously in a clinical environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Perform therapeutic interventions for patients under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Record patient progress and response to treatment in medical charts.
• Report patient status to physicians; measure ROM, strength and vital signs.
• Instruct patients and families on assistive devices and home exercise techniques.
• Provide guidance to Physical Therapist Assistant students and technicians.
• Assist in quality assurance programs as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Ensure technical proficiency in physical therapy principles and techniques.
