Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the team at Kindred Hospital Aurora. The role is PRN with responsibilities including administering PT interventions, assisting in mobility and exercises, and ensuring patient safety and documentation. CPR certification and an active PTA license are required.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
