Job summary

Deptford Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Deptford, New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. You will follow the plan of care set by the supervising PT and help residents through exercises, stretches, and massage to improve mobility.

We offer highly competitive compensation, mentorship and clinical support, and flexible evening or weekend hours. Licensure in New Jersey is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current New Jersey PTA license.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist.
• Measure and record resident's motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Observe and document resident performance.
• Treat residents with techniques like stretching and massage, and assist with exercises.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
