Job summary

Encompass Health in Rockford, IL seeks a PT/OT/SLP licensed Therapy Team Leader to balance clinical excellence with team leadership while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. You will evaluate patients, develop therapies, and supervise therapists and technicians.

The role focuses on coordinating tasks, training, and performance management to meet business goals and improve outcomes. Leadership experience is preferred and a state license is required.

Qualifications

• Current state PT, OT, or SLP license required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
