Job summary

Trax Credit Union is seeking a friendly Teller to be the first point of contact for members. You will handle transactions accurately, uncover member needs, and connect people with solutions that support their financial well-being.

This part-time role emphasizes relationship-building, adherence to policies, and collaboration with the branch team to meet service goals and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

In this role, you’ll be a trusted first point of contact for our members. You’ll handle transactions accurately, uncover member needs, and connect people with solutions that support their financial well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome members with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
• Build relationships through conversation, active listening, and personalized service
• Process cash, check, and other routine transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cash controls, balance work accurately, and follow operational procedures
• Identify member needs and recommend helpful products and services
• Support branch referral goals through natural, solution-focused conversations
• Make follow-up calls to strengthen member relationships and provide support
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively with team members to support branch operations

Requirements

• Six months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
• Strong communication and people skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required

This is a part-time position. Typical hours covered are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM with occasional extended hours or weekends based on business needs. Occasional travel to other branches or for training may be required.
