Trax Credit Union is seeking a friendly Float team member to assist members with daily financial needs across branches. You will handle cash transactions, maintain accuracy, and provide a positive banking experience through personal interactions.

The role emphasizes cross-selling relevant products, meeting referral goals, and maintaining branch security while delivering excellent service. Travel between branches is required, with a monthly travel stipend included.

Qualifications

• 6 months of customer service and cash handling experience (financial institution experience preferred).
• Some sales or cross-selling experience helps you recommend solutions.
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and ability to connect with people.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Be the go-to person for members by handling cash and check transactions quickly and accurately
• Keep your drawer balanced like a pro - every day
• Turn everyday interactions into meaningful conversations using warm greetings and genuine connection
• Spot opportunities to recommend products and services that truly help members - no pushy sales here - just smart solutions
• Hit monthly referral goals by matching members with what they need
• Stay organized and on top of reports, referrals, and daily balancing - details matter
• Keep your cash drawer secure and follow all security and limit guidelines
• Make regular outreach calls to stay connected with members
• Jump in wherever needed - we're a team that has each other's backs

Requirements

• At least 6 months of customer service and cash handling experience (financial institution experience preferred)
• Some sales or cross-selling experience - you're comfortable making recommendations that help people
• A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a natural ability to connect with people
