Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is seeking a part-time aide to support therapists across our Tennessee locations. You will assist with treatments under direct supervision, help maintain clean and ready treatment areas, and support daily administrative tasks to keep clinics running smoothly.

The role emphasizes teamwork in a patient-centered environment, with opportunities to learn and grow through mentorship and clinical education programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; preference given to those pursuing a career in an allied health profession.
• Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills and knowledge, including EMR system, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
