Job summary

STAR Physical Therapy is hiring a certified or student-leaning Physical Therapy Aide/Assistant to support therapists with treatments and patient setup. The role includes maintaining a clean, organized treatment area and helping with scheduling and basic administrative tasks.

You will work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in a collaborative clinic environment focused on patient care and community health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; preference for allied health interests.
• Ability to work efficiently in an autonomous environment.
• Basic PC skills including EMR, database software, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
• Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
• Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
• Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
• Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
• Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
• Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.
