At Jordan Family Learning Center, part-time teachers step into real classroom ownership for the shifts they work — safe routines, warm guidance, and reliable handoffs with the lead team.
Part-Time Teacher. You support or lead classroom programming as assigned (assistant group supervisor / teacher lane), keeping ratios and active supervision tight while children learn and play.
Part-time; shifts vary by enrollment and coverage. Always-hiring for strong PT teachers.
$16–20 per hour.
Staff may not begin or continue child-care duties without required records for the role. Pennsylvania child-care background requirements may include Childcare Employee Listing, FBI fingerprinting, National Sex Offender Registry check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification, Pennsylvania State Police criminal history, and out-of-state checks when applicable. Clearances generally renew every 60 months or sooner when required. A provisionally hired person, when allowed by law, may not be alone with children and must stay in the immediate vicinity of a permanently qualified staff person until clearances are complete. Health assessment / TB screening, handbook acknowledgment, orientation, and role training are required as assigned. Mandated reporter duties apply.
