Job summary

Upon receipt of Direct Orders obtains department signature and forwards completed paperwork to Accounts Payable daily.2. Enters receipts in MMIS system with comments and pertinent information. Initiates orders for inventory items with Purchasing Department. Resolves problems resulting from back ordered items.3. Enters all receipts directly into Computer System complete with pertinent comments when necessary4. Records and reports discrepancies to manager and enters discrepancies into computer, sends copy to accounts payable5. Answers inquiries regarding purchase order status from order departments.6. Maintains receiving area in a clean, safe and orderly manner; i.e., sweeping, dusting, etc.7. Assures delivery of packages to departments, upon arrival8. Performs clerical duties related to Receiving area.9.
