Job summary

Music & Arts seeks a motivated retail professional to drive sales and deliver outstanding customer service in our store. The role includes promoting the Music & Arts lesson program, networking with local schools and community groups, and building strong customer relationships through engaging sales presentations.

You will participate in all store operations, maintain security, and support team goals. A passion for music and prior retail experience are valued in this growing Guitar Center family.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• High familiarity with musical instruments and written music
• Ability to convey products and benefits clearly to customers

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals
• Promote the Music & Arts lesson program
• Create business by networking with teachers/schools, churches, and community organizations
• Develop customer relationships and provide compelling sales presentations based on sales training
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service to each and every customer
• Promote customer loyalty
• Participate in all areas of store operation including merchandising, displays, and maintenance
• Maintain store security including keys and alarm code
• Additional duties as assigned.
