Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Plymouth, MN is seeking a part-time Security Officer to patrol sites, manage access control, and help maintain a safe environment for clients and visitors.

You will respond calmly to incidents, follow post orders, report safety issues, and provide customer service using security tech across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Experience in security and CPR certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with clients and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Utilize security tech devices during shift.
• Conduct property tours as required.
• Carry out tasks of similar scope for assigned site.

PT Security Officer

Primary Location: Plymouth, MN

Wage:$21.50/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and 10 year background investigation.
• Previous security experience preferred.
• Safe Driving certification.
• Infant, Child, and Adult CPR certification.
