Description

A sales associate is responsible for handling various sales activities in a retail store, including facilitating purchases and providing customer service. The specific duties and responsibilities of a sales associate typically include:

• Greeting customers when they walk through the door.
• Inviting customers to join our loyalty program.
• Assisting in maintaining the back stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor.
• Working with co-workers to keep the sales floor area clean and organized.
• Assisting customers in fitting rooms as needed.
• Cleaning shelves, counters, tables, racks, fixtures, employee restrooms, stockrooms, break rooms, and sweeping or mopping when assigned.
• Answering customer questions and consulting a manager if needed.
• Assisting in processing and replenishing merchandise.
• Participating in preparation for cycle counts.
