Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. in Kingsville, TX seeks a part-time Sales Associate to assist customers through the purchasing process, operate cash registers, and bag merchandise. The associate is expected to be friendly, courteous, and uphold company values throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, stocking and organizing merchandise, processing sales, and supporting store goals while maintaining a clean store with proper attire and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting in selecting merchandise and optional items.
• Perform sale transactions using a point of sale system and handle cash accurately.
• Relieve other sales associates during breaks, lunches, and emergencies.
• Address customer complaints courteously and escalate when needed.
• Maintain attendance, hygiene, and dress code; wear company name badge.
• Adhere to safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Support department and agency objectives and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
