Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living at Shrewsbury Crossings, 311 Main St, Shrewsbury, MA, is seeking a compassionate CNA/HHA to deliver warm, resident-centered care in a home-like setting. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will assist residents with daily living activities, document care, and communicate changes to the team.

Starting pay is $19.00 per hour with eligibility for paid training, holidays, and a range of wellness and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Documenting care provided and reporting changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive compassionate and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA/HHA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.
• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA license required
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
• Starting Rate $19.00Hourly
• Every other weekend both Saturday and Sunday
