Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living in Hanover, MA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our caring team. You will support residents with daily living activities in a warm, home-like environment and document observations for the care team.

As a CNA, you will engage residents in meaningful activities, provide emotional support, and coordinate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. Prior experience in skilled nursing or assisted living is preferred but not required; valid

Qualifications

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Experience working with residents with dementia is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report health or behavior changes to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive meaningful care.
• Perform other duties as needed.

We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

CNA Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting


• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.


• Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support.


• Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.


• Other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Valid CNA/HHA/LNA license required


• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required


• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired
