Job summary

Mill Creek MetroParks in Youngstown, OH seeks a part-time Recreation Coordinator to coordinate daily recreation operations, programming, and visitor services.

The role is 28 hours per week with weekend and evening availability required. The successful candidate will contribute to welcoming visitor experiences, support event venues, and promote on-site retail opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of progressive experience in operation of a recreation facility, event center, or related venue.
• A highly positive, professional demeanor, with the ability to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors, vendors, and employees.
• Ability to be highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing numerous projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present to a variety of audiences.
• Excellent visitor service skills, with the ability to sell event venues and retail products.
