Summary
Provides customer service to patrons in person and by telephone, answering questions and assisting with registration and facility reservations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Facilitate customer relations with a positive, professional attitude and tact.
• Provide information to the public by answering phones and emails, responding to requests.
• Promote, implement, and assist with recreational activities, including youth programs, athletic leagues and tournaments, adult and senior programs, and special events.
• Assist with programs and events by registering patrons, entering or documenting registrations, setting up equipment or supplies, and completing clean-up activities.
• Respond to routine inquiries about the city’s recreation and park facilities, services, and programs.
• Document and process payments, prepare receipts and cash reports, and secure receipts and payments for activity scheduling.
• Facilitate equipment check-out, document check-out and return, and ensure safety in equipment use.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Assist in coordinating recreation and other city-hosted events.
• Process participant registration and payments for various recreation classes and activities.

Qualifications
