Job summary

Sylvania in Colchester, CT is hiring a paraeducator to support students by providing instructional and reading assistance under the direction of a certified teacher. The position is part-time, four hours per day, ten months per year, with pay tied to the paraeducator collective bargaining agreement.

Candidates need a high school diploma or GED and one of the following: 60 college credits, an Associate’s degree, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment; plus experience working with children
