Primary Purpose

Perform duties that maintain department appearance, quality, safety, and food safety standards. Support Hannaford's strategy, build customer relations, and provide enthusiastic customer service.

Qualifications

• Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Must meet minimum age requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 lb. regularly and 75 lb. on occasion.
• Reach shoulder level or above while lifting 30 lbs.
• Stand and walk continuously.
• Perform bending, reaching, grasping, and lifting tasks.
• Handle various substances related to cleaning and food preparation.
• Tolerate working in cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes.

Preferred Requirements

• Assist customers in locating and selecting products.
• Perform stocking, culling, and rotation procedures.
